After a very successful open day, the FSEG project groups are now forging ahead to make bids for grants in aid. Leading the pack is The Heritage Lottery Bid, followed by an Arts Council bid by Dorothy Morris, and also Men’s Sheds and Broadside Films, taking advantage of the Short term County leases. FSEG itself is hoping to resubmit its Big Lottery bid for a more modest Bunkhouse and Hostel. The Village Forum,Forum market and the Sports Club also have county leases and envisage a secure future on the education centre site working with FSEG.
